Narrow Sofa Table
- (Sofa tables) are similar to Pembroke tables and usually have longer and narrower tops. They were specifically designed for placement directly in front of sofas for serving tea, writing, dining, or other convenient uses.
- (Sofa Tables) A sofa table is not unlike a Pembroke table, having similar folding flaps which are hinged and can be raised and held by concealed brackets.

this was SUCH a difficult choice for me. i had it all planned out. i wanted to do a narrow depth of field shot, with the thinnest line in focus... and i accomplished that, in the shot posted below. but in finding this stop sign... with these tiny holes, i thought it would be interesting to try to shoot through one, as they are incredibly narrow holes! and what you see in both shots is straight out of the camera, and i fell in love with how the first came out, so decided i had to use it for this challenge. but, i still love the second shot that accomplished what i'd originally intended!
Longs Peak Narrows USGS W.T. Lee
Here is a nifty view from W.T. Lee and the USGS of the Narrows Route up Longs Peak. There is a hiker coming around the edge. The route is considered "Technical" when there is snow on the trail. Ha.

Update on Rescue on Longs Peak in RMNP
At approximately 2 p.m. today in Rocky Mountain National Park, park rangers were notified by cellular phone that a 28- year-old male from Fraser, Colorado, took a reported 150 foot fall south and west of The Narrows on Longs Peak.
